We had so much fun our first week of school. With new kids starting and begining our new curriculum its been pretty exciting. We have been learning All about me and have traced our bodies and learned whats inside them. Each kid planted a row of carrots in our new patch on our patio. Also we learned how plants absorb water from there roots with a celery science experiment. We have been exercising as well with obstical courses and counting our jumping jacks and toe touches. We sure are getting things done and having lots of fun. There are still a few spots available so sign up now while there is still room. Stop on by and check us out!

The month of May has been a fun one. We made mothers day pot holders, had crazy hair day and of course started playing in the water in the afternoons.
We have been learning about the circus this month which is perfect because all the projects we have been making will be used as decorations at our Graduation/Carnival Fundraiser. This Friday we are also having our camp out at the school for the 6 of our kids that are moving on to kindergarten.
We still have spaces available for kids but certain days are filling up.Or summer program is much more relaxed then during the school year.Drop ins are also welcomed

The school is quickly starting to fill up. There are plenty of spaces available, but that won’t last long. We are so excited as we have been hearing from the parents how well their kids are doing at the school. “We have noticed a difference in our child” is what we are hearing.
We want to thank the parents and children that came to our open house last Tuesday the 10th. The energy of the parents that came is evident. It’s nice to see people that care so much for their kids taking the time to come out.

It looks like people are starting to discover our daycare! We have 9 students, with more showing intrest. It seems like Tuesdays and Thursdays are the busiest, with Wednesdays the slowest. We are sure that will change soon. It takes a little while for the word to spread about a new businesss. Never the less we are excited to be hearing such great comments from the people we talk to.
We have applied for a grant for new playground equipment which hopefully will be approved by summer. While we wait for that Trey will be building our sandbox, which will accompany our current playground equipment. One of the great things about our playground is it’s big enough for kids to run around.
Next Tuesday, February 10th, will be our open house. Come by between 6 and 8pm to see what all the excitment is about. Meet Monica and the staff to see if our pre-school and daycare is what you have been looking for.

miss monica in front of new daycare
We passed our state inspection! We are now a licensed preschool and daycare! Monica is now accepting new students. She will only have room for 15 kid’s, so don’t delay.
We had the Georgetown Gazette out yesterday to take some pictures. There should be an article out in the next paper on Thursday.
We want to thank everyone that helped build and given support to us over the last 2 months of construction. We are proud of our new facility, and feel it is a great contribution to the community. Monica will have a open house on February 10th, Tuesday from 6 to 8pm. There will be more info as we get closer to the event. Keep checking here for more updates.
If you would like to talk to Monica, or leave her a message call, 530.333.1253.
